With 25 years of hands-on experience, Nancy Sass Threlfall is a seasoned marketing strategist and a gifted volunteer executive. She’s smart, passionate and creative. Oh, and one more thing – she makes the hard work of marketing fun.
As a marketing consultant, Nancy specializes in helping small-to-medium size companies develop and implement strategic marketing plans to grow both business-to-consumer and business-to-business programs. In the nonprofit arena, she helps with board development, strategic planning and fund development. She enables agencies to find the people and the dollars that turn vision into real, sustainable programs.
What’s the difference between marketing in the private sector and the nonprofit sector? According to Nancy – not much. She takes the same straightforward business principles and applies them. The success comes in her strategic, creative approach to addressing the marketing challenge. She shares this special knowledge and expertise as a member of the consulting staff of La Salle University's Nonprofit Center.
Prior to beginning her own consulting practice, Nancy gained her extensive knowledge in consumer products marketing, advertising and sales development working on the product side for organizations like Sara Lee Household and Body Care USA and Lehn & Fink Products Group, and on the agency side with Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and Weightman Advertising. She also enjoyed success in sales for Xerox and in buying for Strawbridge and Clothier. From technology to fashion, household products to beauty products, Nancy acquired her expertise in the competitive areas of New York and Philadelphia.
